New Hampshire, a U.S. State in New England, defines itself by its charming small towns and vast expanses of wilderness. In the south, Mt. Washington, the tallest mountain, with a connection to the Appalachian Trail, is known for hiking and snowboarding. Also in the White Mountains is moose, black bear, and even part of the Appalachian Trail.

New Hampshire’s top attractions are many. One of New Hampshire’s most treasured landscapes is the New England wilderness. There are dozens of ski resorts in New Hampshire, which make it a great winter destination. In the summer, the lakes and ponds abound in the northern part of the state. Lake Hampshire is a scenic lake in the northern part of New Hampshire that provides outdoor lovers with miles of excellent trails. Another favorite New Hampshire vacation destination is the nearby town of Nashua. Here you will find the historic Main Street, home to world class restaurants, shops, galleries, theatres and other entertainment venues. You can spend a few hours enjoying the Main Street, while strolling down its cobblestone streets. If you prefer to take things a notch higher, head up Mount Washington, which offers panoramic views of the nearby mountains. Another great way to enjoy New Hampshire’s outdoor charms is to take a treasured bicycle on one of its many trails.

Not only are New Hampshire’s outdoor pursuits abundant, but they’re plentiful in terms of scenery as well. The mountains of New Hampshire are covered with an abundance of wildflowers. While you’re traveling through the woods, be sure to stop at a covered bridge. At the end of your New Hampshire biking adventure, you’ll find a covered bridge, perfect for taking photos. You’ll also find waterfalls, which are known to offer a refreshing splash of water on your face.

The best way to travel through New Hampshire is to take advantage of the New Hampshire state park system. New Hampshire state parks feature numerous hiking trails, nature programs, swimming areas, and other attractions. In addition to these activities, New Hampshire’s state parks are home to a covered bridge, perfect for taking photographs. If you love wildlife, bear watching is a popular activity in New Hampshire.
